Razer, which is better known for its gaming devices, which came out with a very successful chat application for location-based augmented reality game Pokemon Go. Razer Called Go, the turning point of the chat application is to help people communicate about the game, which currently has no communication features in applications as of now.
The Web version of the application has gone live and Android and iOS versions are scheduled to be launched on Monday, subject to approval by the respective store, the company confirmed to The Verge. With chat application, players will be able to talk with other players of the same team or individually with one another. An option is also available for a chat group.
Just like games, applications and location-based chat also allows you to talk with players Pokemon Go around you.
Earlier this month, an application called GoChat launched and trying to serve the same purpose as the Razer trying to do with his chat application. However, due to the widespread popularity of the official companion app, it struggled to handle big loads - leading to frequent crashes and new users are not able to sign up for this service.
