Since the Miner got nerfed to almost death, we’re searching for a new TH10+ attacking strategy that let us 3 Star bases. With the recent changes regarding the Witch, she took over the Miners place on the scoreboard, so she is a viable option again. Here’s a strategy that I started using frequently and had some good results with – it’s a mix of Bowlers and Witches.
How B*Witched Works
The central point of this strategy is that you build your funnel on the outside and then get your Bowlers and your Witches into the core of the base – if you do that you have a save 2 Star, even against maxed Town Hall 11 bases, and sometimes you can also get the 3 Stars.
Now I want to show you how it works and also a variation that is working good in Clan War.
Which Town Halls Levels does B*Witched work?
Town Hall 10 & Town Hall 11
Main Purpose Of This Attacking Strategy
Clan War, Trophy Pushing and also (Gold&Elixir) Farming for TH11 (in Titan League)
Pros of B’Witched:
+ Easy (kind of mass) strategy
+ Save 2 Star when you know how to build a funnel, also 3 Stars possible
Cons of LavaLoon:
– Requires far upgraded troops & Heroes
– Extremely expensive in Dark Elixir
Troop Variations for B*Witched
There are two versions of this attacking strategy and the only difference is how you build your outside funnel.
The difference is small – one is using more Bowlers and the other one is using Healers alog with a Queen Charge / Queen Walk in the beginning.
I personally prefer the mass Bowler for regular multiplayer attacks and the one with Healers for Clan War where I can plan my Queen Walk a little better and the bases are often designed with a more enhanced outside – plus I can see replays that might show Seeking Air Mine positions on the outside.
Your army setup is:
- 8 Witches
- 20+ Bowler or 12 Bowler & 4 Healer
- some Wall Breaker
- Giants in the Clan Castle
- 3 Rage Spells
- 2 Jump Spells
- Poison Spell
- B*Witched Step by Step
Now let’s take a look at the different steps that this attack requires. The most crucial part of this strategy is not the timing of deployment, it’s that you can build a wide funnel on the outside. B’Witched attacking consists of these 3 steps:
- Building a funnel
- Send in Bowlers & Witches
- Use Jump & Rage Spells
Let’s have a closer look at these steps.
Step 1: Building your funnel
This is the most crucial part of the whole attack – if youdo that wrong you will see your forces walk around the base and will be struggeling for the 1 Star.
Let me show you two bases first.
In the first case, you don’t need Healers. You can simply send in all your forces at once and then support them with spells and hero abilities.
Bases like the second one need you to clear off things on the outside first.
My rough rule is to clear off like 25% of the outside, then you can deploy your Bowlers and Witches next to that cleared area.
Step 2: Deploy your forces
This step is actually pretty easy, just deploy all of them as fast as possible next to the area your cleared off.
If there’s nothing on the outside to clearn, simply deploy all troops at the entrance point in the beginning of the attack
All you now need to do is to deploy your 2 Jump Spells to make a way straight to the Town Hall and the core and support your Bowlers with the Rage Spells.
This attacking strategy is so powerful, because the Witches will provide you with a lot of Skeletons when your Bowlers are running against Walls on the inside.
The attack for the Town Hall and the core doesn’t take longer than 30 seconds, so there’s plenty of time left to clear off the base and hopfully get the 3 Stars.
Here’s also a nice video from Clash with Ash that also shows some replays to give you some additional help in using this strategy.
Conclusion
This attacking strategy fills in a gap and can be used very good – the high Dark Elixir costs however are not making it useful for everyone. Those of you who are short on Dark Elixir (or haven#t upgraded Bowlers and Witches) might want to use LaLoon instead.
